Poultry industry had started it's strolling in 80s in Bangladesh. After starting this industry being developed rapidly with the involvement of unemployed youths.
Presently about 6 million farmers are engaged with this industry. But this more likely industry is now experiencing a huge problems. The main problem for the last few years is production cost of ready chicken and eggs is higher than the sale value of them. Every farmer counting a huge loss from their poultry business and being compelled to close their business. On the other hand, when the demand of ready chicken and eggs become high, the hatcheries fix their day old chicks' rate abnormally high. As a result, poultry business in this country can't find stability.
In this situation, breeder farms (hatchery) should maintain a stability in fixing their rate, government should take necessary steps to distribute loan from banks with low interest rate to survive the lost farmers and implement principals so that the farmers get proper value of their products and this is how this sector will get back its new life.
